Step 1- Make a plan for what you want. First seniors must determine What is important to them. Do you want better sleep, better eating habits, an exercise routine, stress reduction, hydration moreover, it’s important to identify those things and set a plan to go after them. For some people it may be a change in diet or exercising activities or its simple as cutting out things in your life so that one can sleep better. For others hydration is important whatever it is make a plan and be resolute but flexible in following it.
Step 2- Record your progress daily. It is so important to record your wins and success. Jot it down in a journal or notebook. Mark your calendar noting that you won the day. Recording your wins allow you to gain momentum and help you stay excitedly on course. At Body and Soul Senior Fitness we have a calendar that helps you keep track of your successes.
Step 3- Celebrate you win. This is where you can treat yourself for doing such a good job. Buy a great water bottle, a new piece of workout clothing or gear celebrating your success. Try a new recipe or take a walk in a different place, give yourself a reward for doing well.
